ReDi is owned by its members, of which there are two types. Members may be individual researchers or people interested in research in the field, or organisations or churches engaged in diaconal work or universities, colleges and higher level research institutes.

ReDi invites both individuals and organisations to join the association, which is independent and self-governing. An Executive Board is elected from among the individual and organisational members to support the Society’s work programme and development. For more information, please read our statutes.

ReDi membership offers:

  • A network of like-minded researchers in the field of Diaconia and Christian Social Practice.
  • A conference every two years for research in Diaconia and Christian Social Practice. The next one will be in Norway in 2023.
  • A regular eNews service to share news, find partners and develop new initiatives and keep you in touch with the international community in the field of Diaconia and Social Practice.
  • A regularly updated interactive website with news and information about the study and research of Diaconia.
